Co-Inquiry Meeting Video: One Hole In The Road

Written by Administrator
The purpose of this video is to help familiarize teachers with the stages of the Co-Inquiry process and the value of co-participation in dialogue. This video shows a co-inquiry meeting at the Huggins Center in early 2006. The six teachers in the meeting have varying backgrounds, experiences, years at the center, and education levels. Although the actual meeting was edited down from 2 hours to 26 minutes, the co-inquiry process moves from documentation to dialogue to planning possible actions. Over the course of the meeting, individuals share interpretations that contribute to the collaborative construction of potential meanings of children's thoughts, actions, and symbolic languages.
